Two people were charged with drug trafficking following a routine traffic stop in Rockcastle County.
Kentucky State Police said they stopped a Toyota Camry just before 6 p.m. on I75.
Troopers said when they searched the vehicle, they discovered a pound of marijuana and a half-ounce of cocaine hidden in the vehicle.
Police said they arrested Joshua Ruch, 27, and Jennifer Starnes, 27, both of North Carolina.
Both are in the Rockcastle County Detention Center.
