State Police said detectives are investigating the death of a 4-month old baby.
Investigators did not release the name or gender of the baby.
State Police said Adair County EMS received a call of a baby who wasn't breathing.
The child was pronounced dead at Westlake Hospital, according to the Adair County Coroner.
An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday at the State Medical Examiner's office.
