State Police said they intercepted a delivery of narcotics intended for Martin W. Wright, 36, of Louisa, which led to Wright's arrest.

Investigators said the drugs were shipped to Wright from an undisclosed location.

State Police said the drug delivery took place Tuesday at a gas station just south of Louisa on U.S. 23.

Investigators said Wright was waiting for the delivery and was operating his State Highway vehicle when the delivery took place.

Wright was arrested at his home.

State Police said Wright is charged with one count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree.

He was lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Jail.

The investigation continues.
