Lexington police arrest a man after a standoff involving three children that lasted more than three hours.
Police were called to a trailer on Queen Avenue at around 4:15 a.m. Monday.
A woman told police her boyfriend came into the home and the two got into a fight.
She said he had a gun with him.
She managed to get out with three of her children but three others were left behind.
When police arrived, they said the man refused to come out and the street was shut down while officers tried to talk the man out.
After negotiating with him, the man finally left the home without incident at around 7:30 a.m.
None of the children were harmed.
 The man was arrested.
