The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office said Friday that a Somerset woman admitted she sent a pornographic image and provided alcohol to a 17-year old boy, who is a friend of the woman's daughter.

Investigators said Ann Marie Alexander, 39, of Somerset, is charged with unlawful transaction with a minor 3rd degree and distribution of obscene matter to minors 1st offense.

The Sheriff's Office said in January, the Department's Criminal Investigation Division conducted an investigation into a complaint from a parent that an adult had provided alcohol to their underage child.

During the investigation, detectives said they learned that the same adult, identified as Alexander, had sent a pornographic image to the teen by text message.

Detectives said when they interviewed Alexander, she admitted she provided alcohol to the 17-year old boy because she didn't want him to buy alcohol from a bootlegger.

Detectives said Alexander also admitted that she sent the inappropriate image to the teenage boy by text message.

Investigators said Alexander was served with a criminal summons to appear in court March 6, 2013.
