Strong, gusty winds will accompany some of our evening rain showers. Make sure outdoor objects are secured. Later this evening, our rain will transition into snow.

Snow showers will continue into the Wednesday morning commute. Temperatures will be low enough for accumulations on the grass and roadways. By late morning, snow totals should be between 1 and 3 inches in the Bluegrass. We will see slightly less in southern Kentucky with snow totals between 1 and 2 inches. Higher terrain in eastern Kentucky could see 2 to 4 inches.

Precipitation will become more scattered late Wednesday morning. As temperatures climb into the mid 30s, we could see some of the snow transition back to a wintry mix before ending.
