Hundreds of people looking for work turned to the Fayette County Public Schools today.
They hosted a fair for anyone interested in a job within the system from teachers to transportation to food services.
Principals say the event is a chance to meet potential candidates for job openings at their schools and to put a face with an applicant's name.
Recruiters say it's hard to sort though emails and resumes for the best candidates, so seeing them in person can be a crucial step in the hiring process.
