Wayne County school bus driver is being hailed as a hero after she got the children off her bus moments before it caught fire, according to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators said Debbie East heard three explosions on her bus Thursday afternoon.

Sheriff's Deputies said she got the three children on her bus safely out right before it started to burn.

No one was hurt.

The fire department put out the fire, but investigators said the bus was a total loss.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
