SUV Swept Away In Rain Swollen Creek In Boyle County

The Boyle County Sheriff's Office posted dramatic video on its Facebook page of an SUV being swept away by flood waters in a creek at Forkland Road. The two people in the SUV got out safely, according to authorities.
The Boyle County Sheriff's Office posted dramatic video on its Facebook page on the 4th of July of an SUV being swept away in a rain swollen creek at Forkland Road.

Authorities said Cory Kitchen and Chris Jackson were able to safely get out of the vehicle before it was swept away. 

The incident happened after a day of persistent and at times heavy rain that resulted in widespread Flash Flood Watches and Warnings from the National Weather Service.
