What an AWESOME forecast this afternoon...warm and sunny with highs reaching 61 degrees. Warmer temperatures in the southwest of the state with slightly cooler numbers in the northeast, still very pleasant for all. Also, dry with partly cloudy skies through nightfall. Clouds will be on the increase through the evening with lows very mild at 50 degrees. Rain is likely for 60% of the coverage area beginning tonight after midnight. Rain continues tomorrow for most of the Bluegrass bringing a tenth to a quarter of an inch of rainfall. Some of the Bluegrass, especially south central counties stretching along the Cumberland Parkway, could see the development of T'Storms by the late afternoon. High temperatures will reach 60 degrees for Saturday and lows drop to 38 degrees by Sunday morning. Cool, northern air fills in behind a cold front boundary at the end of the weekend to keep temperatures capped on Sunday at 46 degrees. Rain continues off and on from the overnight tonight through St. Patrick's Day.
