Police: Two Arrested After Baby Found In Car Needing Immediate Medical Attention

State troopers said the baby had bruising on her head and legs, severe diaper rash, injuries on her face, severe malnutrition and appeared to have trouble breathing.
Two people are in jail after after state police say they found an injured child in their care. 

The Scott County Sheriff's Department got a domestic assault call Friday evening around 6:30.

Deputies say they eventually found the two adults they were looking for in a car at mile marker 125 on I-75 in Scott County along with a 14-month-old who needed medical attention.

State troopers found the baby had bruising on her head and legs, severe diaper rash, injuries on her face, severe malnutrition and appeared to have trouble breathing.

She was taken to UK Hospital.

33-year-old Matthew Clifton and 27-year-old Kimberly Riggs were both taken to the Scott County Jail and charged with criminal abuse.
