Lexington Police said they arrested four juveniles for allegedly stealing a car, crashing into a police officer and running from the scene.

Police said the owner of a red Chrysler Pacifica spotted their stolen car near Tates Creek Road and called police.

Officers said while chasing the car down on Thames Road, the stolen car collided with a police cruiser.

They said all four suspects scattered.

Police caught up with them on the north side of Armstrong Mill Road.

The driver of the stolen car was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

They said the officer involved in the crash wasn’t hurt.
