Two people in Harlan County face criminal abuse charges after a young boy told police he was beaten and held inside a small freezer.

Police said Randy Hammons,24, was the one who abused the boy, but said Connie Jenkins,54, did nothing to stop the abuse. The relationship between the child, Hammons, and Jenkins is unclear. However, police said Hammons and Jenkins did live together.
