School leaders in Scott County say someone threatened students at the high school, but that person didn't have the means to carry out the threat.
Superintendent Patricia Putty issued a statement about it.
In it she says the threat came from "someone out-of-state nine hours away, where police confirmed this person has no access to weapons or transportation to Kentucky."
Police say the threat was related to a fight last week.
