Officials Urging People To Stay Off The Roads

Officials throughout the Bluegrass are urging people to stay home while crews worked to clear roads covered in ice and snow.

Roads throughout Lexington and many of the surrounding counties were still covered in snow as of 6 a.m.

The slick roads is being blamed for multiple accidents, including one accident that shut down northbound I-75 near the Clays Ferry Bridge.

Lexington Police officials said, they haven't responded to any accidents with serious injuries.
