A Lexington police officer went to the hospital Thursday morning following a scuffle with a suspect.
Officers pulled a suspected drunk driver over just before 3 a.m. off Cambridge Drive.
Police said the suspect resisted arrested and then ran off.
Officers and K9 units were able to track the man down but said he began acting strangely so he was taken to the hospital.
One of the arresting officers suffered minor injuries, mainly scrapes, and went to the hospital to be checked out, according to police.
