A mother and son are now accused in connection to a deadly shooting in Casey County.
Police say Derek Salyers and Ruth Salyers are accused of tampering with evidence and hindering prosecution.
The Salyers are among five people facing charges in connection to the September 2012 shooting death of Wendell Pyles.
According to investigators, Pyles was shot in the parking lot of the Tarter Gate Company.
Police accused William Rigdon in Pyles' murder.
And David Salyers is accused of driving Rigdon to the scene.
Police also charged Anthony Byrd with facilitation to commit murder.
