A missing Indiana father and his two children were found safe walking along the interstate Tuesday morning.

After talking with Mann, police decided not to press charges against him because they determined he never meant to hurt the children, and he suffered from a medical issue.

According to state police, Michael Mann, Macy Mann, and Madden Mann were considered missing after they didn't show up at Mann's mother's home in Versailles on Sunday. The family's van was found abandoned along I-75 South on Monday.

The children were unharmed and are back in the care of their mother. Michael Mann was sent to a treatment facility in Indiana Tuesday afternoon. It's unclear if he will face charges in Indiana.
