Two people were arrested in a church parking lot and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine in Powell County.

Acting on an anonymous complaint concerning drug activity, deputies found a suspicious vehicle at the Crossroads Baptist Church on Virden Ridge. The officers deputies found an active 1-step meth lab and charged Brandon Dunn and Sara Mullins, both of Clay City, with Manufacturing Methamphetamine.

This makes the 5th lab the Sheriff's Department has destroyed in the last month.
