Afternoon Update:

Grab your wet weather gear if you're heading outside today.

Occasional showers and an isolated thunderstorm is in our forecast all morning long.  Into this afternoon, we could see a few breaks in the rain which would allow you to run out and throw hamburger and hot dogs on the grill; however, don't count on it.

Parade @ 2:00pm
Temps: 74°F - Cloudy skies with scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm

Fireworks @ 10:00pm
Temps: 70°F - Mostly Cloudy with hit and miss showers

Given all the rainfall we could see in spots, a Flash Flood Watch has been posted though 8:00am Friday.

Happy Independence Day - Thursday, July 4th, 2013! This morning we're Mostly Cloudy & Mild. Look for light rain first thing east of I-75, with increasing clouds and showers west of I-75 by mid morning. Occasional showers and an isolated thunderstorm are in our forecast for today. We'll see several breaks and lulls in the rain today, so hopefully you can run out for a few to get on the grill if needed :-) Temps at lunch are forecast at: 73F with Highs this afternoon at 77F. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for eastern KY through 8:00am Friday. See you on ABC 36 Good Morning Kentucky from 5am - 9am for more.
