Man Refuses Help From Police After Being Shot

Police said a man refused their help after being shot in the hand in downtown Lexington.
A shooting victim told police he didn't want their help when they showed up at the scene Thursday.
Lexington police said they received the call about shots fired near the Catholic Action Center on E. 5th at around 1:30 a.m.
When they got there, they said they found a man with a gunshot wound to his hand.
Police said, when they tried to ask him questions, he swore at them and stormed off.
He later turned up at a local hospital for treatment.
Police are still trying to find out who shot him.
