Man Accused Of Shooting At Lexington Police Officer

Lexington Police said a man fired a shot at an officer, but missed.

Police said they were called Tuesday just before 11:00 a.m., about a man who was reportedly threatening people in a home on Woodside Circle.

Officers responded to the scene and according to police, saw a man with a gun approaching the house.

Police said that man fired a gun in the direction of an officer.  No one was hit.

Police arrested that man, identified as Phillip Resmondo.

Police said Resmondo was charged with Attempted Murder, Wanton Endangerment and Assault, among other charges.

He was lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
