Sean Helton was on his way home driving down Hammock Drive on Sunday, not more than a block from his house when he says he came upon a young woman pulled over to the side of the road with her hazard lights on.

Helton told ABC 36 that as he approached the woman, another car came up behind him. Two men jumped out and began hitting Helton with a baseball bat, and trying to slash him with a knife.

Helton says he eventually got away, running into a field, where he called his dad.

He says when the two arrived back at the scene, the two men were gone, along with the woman and her car, which Helton says never had a license plate.

He says only a few small items were stolen from his car, and says he only sustained a few bruises, and a large gash across his 'Carharrt' jacket from the knife.

Helton says he did not get a good look at the two men because their headlights were shining on him. He described the woman as about 5-3, medium build, in her mid-20's and with bad acne. Her car was a white Chevy Cavalier.
