Lexington Police are searching for two teens they say shot a man outside of the Fox Run Apartments on McCullough Drive... just before nine Tuesday morning.

Lexington Police say Tuesday morning's shooting is one several shootings that have happened here in this neighborhood, over the last few days and they say the victim in this latest shooting, is now at the hospital, recovering from his injuries.

"Upon arrival, we found that a male hispanic had been shot in the leg. Suspects were described as two male blacks, young, probably about 14 or 15 years of age, armed with a small handgun," says Lexington Police Sgt. Scott May

Police say the teenage suspects stole some money from the victim in the breezeway of this fox run apartment.

"This is the 3rd one I believe, in 3 days. The other 2 occurred on hollow creek. We don't know for sure, but obviously, the descriptions are very similar. The mo's of the robberies are pretty much the same. So, right now, until we know otherwise, yeah, we're pretty much going to consider all these related," explains Sgt. May

That news has people living in the apartment complex, concerned for their own safety.

"I mean, it's sad that this has to happen. Ya know, and I thought this was a good place to live but, I'm getting ready to move away from here. It's dangerous out here. They knocking people in the head, robbing them and thangs. I don't know man, I ain't used to this," adds neighbor William Scott

Lexington Police ask you to give them a call, if you have any information that could help out with it's investigation.
