A burglar tried to run from the scene, but police said he didn't get far.

Officers responded to an alarm at Third Street Liquor in downtown Lexington at around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.

When they arrived, they found the business had been broken into.

Police said they located the suspect one block over. When they tried to take him into custody, they said he punched an officer in the face.

Officers used a taser on the suspect, Isaiah Warren.
