A Frankfort man was hoping to meet up a woman he had met online early Saturday morning, but officials said when he got to their meeting spot, he was robbed.

Lexington police said when the man showed up at the corner of Locust Avenue and Limestone Street at around 12:30am, a young man and 17-year-old girl approached him.

That's when 19-year-old Marshall McAdams allegedly pulled a gun on the man and demanded his money.

Officers said after getting the cash, McAdams and the girl ran off, but were caught a short time later.

McAdams was charged with robbery and lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
