LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Keeneland Race Course is planning a monthlong festival next year as part of its Breeders' Cup festivities.

Keeneland Association executive Vince Gabbert says the festival will involve concerts, hospitality tents and other entertainment.

The Lexington Herald-Leader (http://bit.ly/VWWfO6 ) reports that Gabbert made the comments Friday to county officials from across Kentucky.

The Lexington track found out last month that it will be the site of next year's Breeders' Cup.

Gabbert says all 1,100 acres of Keeneland's campus will be used for the event.

He says Keeneland will not be seeking local and state government funding for infrastructure like roads and water lines.
