A Jessamine County man is dead after falling off a bridge into the Kentucky River Sunday morning.
The Jessamine County Sheriff's Office says 35-year old John David Mcfadden of Nicholasville died after falling more than a hundred feet off the Highway 27 bridge a little before 2am.
Investigators say he and a friend were sitting out on the bridge when Mcfadden slipped and fell.
The sheriff's office says there was no foul play, but alcohol was involved.
According to the coroner Mcfadden drowned.
