Midnight Update: Light rain and a few sprinkles continue to fall in areas generally north of Interstate 64. As the rain pushes further southeast, it becomes much more isolated and eventually diminishes.

Temperatures have fallen into the upper 50s in all of our cities with the exception of Lexington, which is sitting right at 60°.

Very light rain showers continue to push into central Kentucky from the northwest. As the rain enters central Kentucky, it is braking apart and becomes very isolated by the time it reaches southeastern Kentucky. This will continue through the rest of Saturday evening.

Temperatures overnight will not be nearly as chilly and will only fall into the low 50s by Sunday morning.

More scattered showers are expected on Sunday, although some areas will remain completely dry. As we head into the afternoon, a thunderstorm or two will also be possible. Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies with temperatures reaching the low 70s.

On Memorial Day, we will see a mix of sun and clouds with more hit-and-miss showers and storms. Have a backup plan for those outdoor BBQs just in case a shower moves over your neighborhood.
