Update: Grandmother Charged After Child Found At Corbin McDonald's

Police say a woman is in trouble after her 4-year-old grandson was left alone at a Corbin McDonald's.
Police say a woman is in trouble after her 4-year-old grandson was left alone at a Corbin McDonald's.

Officers say 62-year old Joanne Lowe is charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.

Corbin Police say she's the legal guardian of her grandson, who is now in the custody of the state.

Lowe reportedly told officers the boy was accidentally left behind Thursday at McDonald's on Cumberland Falls Highway after eating with several family members.

According to police, Lowe told officers she thought her grandson had gone home with another family member.

McDonald's workers reportedly found the child.

Police then put out a picture of the boy in hopes of tracking down his family.

Officers say a family member say the picture and called police to identify him.

Investigators say Lowe was not placed under arrest but is due in court next month.
