Georgetown Man Involved In Double Fatal Car Accident

State Police said Michael Grubb, 26, of Georgetown, was driving a car that crashed in Owen County, killing two of his passengers. Investigators said alcohol was a suspected factor in the accident.
State Police said a car driven by Michael Grubb, 26, of Georgetown, crashed overnight Monday on Highway 35 in Owen County, killing two of his passengers.

Investigators said the vehicle left the road and rolled several times.

State Police said alcohol was a suspected factor in the crash.

State Police said no one in the car was wearing a seat belt.

Investigators said Justin Renfro, 24, of Owenton, died at the scene. 

State Police said another passenger, Drew Mason, 26, of Sparta, died later at the University of Cincinnati Hospital.

Michael Grubb was airlifted to University of Cincinnati Hospital.

The accident remains under investigation.
