A gas leak in Lexington forced people out a home Thursday afternoon.

Fire officials said a gas line was hit around 4 p.m. when work was being done to a house on Manhattan Drive near Bryan Station Road. Officials say Columbia Gas came and fixed the problem. The road was closed for a short time.

Fire officials say no one was hurt in the incident.
