The work continues to clean up a Frankfort home infested with tens of thousands of bed bugs.

ABC 36 was the first to bring you this story.

We were back there Thursday as pest control workers pumped in 120-degree heat.

That process is expected to get rid of 97% of the bedbugs.

Other devices are used. But not all of it is 'high tech.'

UK Entomologist and national bug expert Michael Potter says, "Last week, we were out here tracking different bugs with different color paint. Then we came back a week later, and what we're finding is what we expected. We're finding bugs that were marked in one room that have now moved to an entirely different room."

Pest control workers will follow up, over the next few weeks, until all the bugs are gone.
