A former Wayne County Clerk is facing felony forgery charges.

State Attorney General Jack Conway says 40-year-old Jennifer 'Melissa' Turpin of Monticello was arrested Thursday.

Investigators say Turpin forged the signature of Pulaski County Clerk Ralph Troxell on a title for a truck that was sold on Craigslist.

According to Conway, Turpin is currently on probation for filing false tax returns and abuse of public trust over $10,000.

She's in the Pulaski County Jail on $25,000 full cash bond.
