Lexington firefighters were called to a gas station after crews say a roof collapsed.

It happened around 7:45pm Monday at a CITGO station on East Loudon Avenue near Contract Street.

Firefighters say two workers were in the building when it happened but were not hurt.

Investigators are trying to figure out what caused the roof to cave in.

But they say the area was hit with strong winds and pea-sized hail when it happened.
