The heat wave has finally ended, but many areas saw severe thunderstorms and some even had flash flooding on Sunday.  Today, temperatures will be near normal, with highs around 84° in Lexington.  Plenty of clouds will accompany the front as it slowly drifts south across the region.  The front will spark some additional thunderstorms, which will be most likely in the southern half of the area, near and especially south of I-64, this afternoon.  The entire seven-day forecast will feature highs in the middle 80s and lows in the middle to upper 60s, with a shower or thunderstorm possible, each day.  Southern Kentucky will be the wettest part of the Commonwealth, as a front will stall over Tennessee and the Carolinas.
