A Fayette County Principal was recently suspended without pay because he reportedly drank a beer during a school trip, according to a report in the Lexington Herald-Leader.

The newspaper said Greg Quenon was having dinner with his wife during a February cheerleading trip in Florida, and no students were around.

The newspaper reported the drink came with a two-day suspension late last month; the first principal suspension since 2011.

Quenon has been principal of Henry Clay since 2012.

ABC 36 did contact the spokesperson for the school district, but they had no comment.
