Dozens of students and faculty gathered on the EKU campus for their annual 'Take Back the Night.'
The event is to raise awareness about sexual abuse and domestic violence, which according to event organizers happens to one in four women on college campuses.
At Tuesday's event local domestic abuse organizations spoke, along with victims of abuse who also wrote messages and decorated t-shirts expressing their emotions of their traumatic events.
Later a candlelight vigil was held as the group marched around campus chanting.
