Coach Cal's current Cats are hitting the practice floor pretty hard before the fall semester starts up.  That includes former Lexington resident Dakari Johnson.

Johnson played for Sayre from 6th to 8th grade.  Now he's back and physically  bigger.  A big reason Coach Cal wanted the agile big man.

Lexington is familiar territory for Dakari and that's an obvious plus.

It's nice to have some old friends still around town, but there is one major change so far and it's likely one every college student has to go through.

More on Johnson's laundry woes in the video.
