Police arrested a man they said almost ran one of their officers off the road Monday afternoon.

Police said Jerrell Greene, 23, was driving near the intersection of New Circle Road and Woodhill Drive when he made a wide turn, forcing a police cruiser onto the shoulder of the road.

Police said Greene kept going and didn’t stop when the officer turned on his lights and siren to make a traffic stop.

According to court documents, Green finally stopped his car but then took off running.

He was caught a few minutes later.

Greene is charged with endangering a police officer, fleeing and evading and driving on a suspended license.
