A cancer survivor from Wilmore is reaching out to others as a part of his bucket list.

Larry McCoy helped feed more than 500 people at the Hope Center this afternoon, something he's been wanting to do since he was diagnosed with prostate cancer five years ago.

That was when he made a list of a few things he wanted to do before he dies.

After focusing on his family-oriented goals like watching his kids graduate, he decided to look to his community.

Doctors say McCoy is in remission now, which will give him even more time than expected to help others.
