A blood drive and a bone marrow screening are planned for Montgomery County in May.

And they mean a lot to the Montgomery County Fire Department.

Battalion Chief Tony Clayton is battling leukemia.

A community blood drive to honor Clayton is set for Thursday, May 9th.

It will run from noon to 7:00pm at the Montgomery County Health & Civic Center.

There is also a bone marrow drive scheduled for Tuesday, May 14th.

It will be held from 11:00am to 7:00pm at the Woodlands Industrial Park Fire Station #6.
