Lexington Police said a woman's body was found along Leeann Lane Thursday afternoon.
At this point, police are calling it a death investigation.
Police said someone driving along the road spotted the body at 6801 Leeann Lane around 3:00 p.m.
The Fayette County Coroner's Office responded to the scene, along with police investigators.
No name has been released.
