As kids head back to school doctors say it may be time to update their vaccinations.

University of Kentucky doctors say if your child hasn't been given updated shots since entering kindergarten, and are now entering middle school, it may be time.

Most vaccines for Diphtheria, Tetanus, or Whooping Cough are given to children when they are very young and are good through high school. However, doctors say getting an updated shot for Whooping Cough before college isn't a bad idea.

Doctors also want to remind everyone to get their flu shot every year as well.
