Frankfort Police arrested a woman they said abandoned a puppy near the Frankfort sewer department Tuesday.

Police said they arrested Stephanie Cooper, 43, and charged her with Animal Cruelty in the Second Degree. After police release surveillance video showing the suspect dropping off the dog in a box, they said they received several tips that the woman in the video was Cooper.

Police said Cooper was booked into the Frankfort jail, and police said the five week old Chihuahua is now in puppy foster care.
