BYRDSTOWN, Tenn. (AP) — Authorities are investigating two bodies found in Pickett County as a possible double homicide.
Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Josh Devine said in an email to The Associated Press on Thursday that agents are collecting evidence and trying to figure out a timeline for the crime.
Devine said the victims have not been positively identified. He did not provide any other details.
He did ask that anyone who might know something about the crime to call (800) TBI-FIND, or (800) 824-3463.
Pickett County is located on the Tennessee-Kentucky state line surrounded by Clay, Overton and Fentress Counties.
