From November 18th through the end of December, The Kentucky Horse Park transforms into a holiday extravaganza.
This is the 18th year that Southern Lights has illuminated The Kentucky Horse park in Lexington.
From sunset until 10pm each evening, visitors drive through a winter landscape of lighted an often animated figures of over one million lights.
This year features a new route and new LED dinosaur lights.
But if lights aren't your fancy, Southern Lights has a variety of other attractions, like an exotic petting zoo, camel rides, and plenty of vendors to do a little holiday shopping.
So with a visit to Santa and dinner in the Bit and Bridle Restaurant, your family's holiday outing will be complete.
Not only is Southern Lights a great family tradition, but the proceeds go to The Kentucky Horse Park Foundation, which helps provide funding to help take care of the horses, and keep the park up to date and ready to greet visitors all year long.

Ticket prices are as follows:
Personal Vehicle: $15 - $20
Extended Vans and Limousines: $30
Mini-Bus: $50
School Bus: $75
Motorcoach: $125
