Summer4Life continues at Kentucky Blood Center with a celebration of World Blood Donor Day and other promotions the week of June 11.

Nexcare is providing "Giving Blood Is Timeless" bandages to donors all week to celebrate World Blood Donor Day, which is Thursday, June 14.

In addition to receiving a KBC Summer4Life T-shirt, all donors will be entered to win four tickets to the June 28 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series UNOH 225 at Kentucky Speedway. Anyone 18 years and older who registers to give blood will also be automatically eligible to win a 2012 Toyota RAV4. KBC will be giving it away in September.

Someone in Whitley County posted photos of themself on Facebook posing in front of a marijuana patch on Clifford Canada Road, according to the Sheriff's Office. Those pictures led investigators to the pot patch and a father and son were arrested.
