Cloud cover has already begun to blanket the state of Kentucky.

However, the upper level low is still churning up in OK and KS, and pushing into Missouri.

Scattered rain showers are expected to overspread central Kentucky during the overnight and pre-dawn hours, and eastern Kentucky shortly after sunrise.

Showers will begin to taper off by mid to late afternoon.

Rainfall amounts will generally range from 1/4" - 1/2".

Despite the warm temperatures, severe weather is unlikely. A few imbedded thunderstorms are possible overnight and during the afternoon hours.
