Mostly clear skies tonight as temperatures only drop into the low 30s, with patchy frost possible. The south winds will return Friday as afternoon temperatures soar back above average. Highs are expected in the mid to upper 50s to end the work week under mostly sunny skies.
The mild temperatures will continue into the weekend, although more clouds are expected. A system across the Great Lakes will get close enough to bring in a few more clouds and moisture this weekend, but temperatures will still climb into the mid 60s.
On Sunday a passing shower or two will be possible, mainly northwest of the Bluegrass. The rest of us will only have an increase in clouds late in the weekend.
